What is being touted by organisers Pulse as its biggest ever Caribbean Fashion Week takes place in Kingston, June 8-12.
Over 50 designers from more than 20 countries will converge on the nation's capital for five days of fashion excitement.
"This is our fifth anniversary and we at Pulse will be pulling out all the stops to ensure a quality week for all concerned. From the fashion itself, to the after parties and expo, Pulse will do what is necessary in terms of the planning, to make this the most memorable CFW yet," Kingsley Cooper of Pulse said.
The week's activities consist of nine shows culminating with the Smirnoff Pulse 25th Anniversary Fashion Collection on Sunday, June 12, an expo that will run from June 10-12, after parties at Villa Ronai, Boone Hall and the Caribbean Fashion Centre, opening night, tours, cocktail parties, press launches and a cruise. Participants will come from Germany, South Africa, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Canada, Venezuela, Suriname, the United States and the Caribbean. Opening night will be held at the Hilton Kingston Hotel with the shows and expo scheduled for the National Indoor Sports Centre.
