The sun's out, the birds are chirping and women's skirts are getting shorter. These are all signs that spring's making its way to town.
Now that the weather's warmer and your wardrobe is set, you need to get on board with this season's trends in men's shoes. You'll notice that the spring of 2006 is all about smaller, sleeker and less "chunky" men's shoes. Heals are smaller, soles are rubber and almost invisible, and black and brown are still the colors of choice.
Here are some of the perfect
men's shoes to dress your feet this season.
1- Boots

Black ankle boots are good for office wear. Wear them with your best black or gray slacks and you've got a great business look for the spring. They are a good transitional item if you're going out after work as well. Simply remove your blazer, and the right pair of boots will add a touch of modern sophistication to your newly dressed-down outfit.
Shopping tip: Pick an ankle boot with a square toe and a lower, less chunky heel. Lace-ups are a no-no if you want to pull of a sophisticated look.
2- Sneakers

The right pair of outdoor sneakers is not only trendy, but you can get a lot of wear out of them too. Pick a pair that's neutral in color (but don't shy away from a subtle multi-colored pair), virtually flat and possibly water-resistant. Wear your modern sneakers with any wash of jean and your favorite vintage T-shirt, and you've got yourself the perfect casual outfit.
Shopping tip: Avoid buying running or
basketball sneakers unless you're performing either sport. "Outdoor" sneakers have the casual look of a regular sneaker, but lend a trendier air to your favorite pair of jeans.
So, you believe
loafers belong in the nursing home? Think again, buddy...

can i wear shorts w/ a skechers genesis footloose- white? help
i love how they never include converse all stars(high or low tops)...same with vans. i know at least 20 sucsessful buisnessmen who where hightops to work with the rest of their "punk" outfit of baggy jeans and a band tee...i just don't see the problem with them
I liked page 2 better than page 1, but I still found this article to be a little too simplistic. Surely there's a way to be more daring, and more inventive?
